Sunrise

Halo! :) The word of the day: sunshine <3
So I woke up at 7 and was surprised that I was the only one awake. During the stay in Kenya I've always been the last to get up :D So I did my morning stuff quietly and just when I was about to leave my grandparents woke up. We had planned to take a morning swim at the pool, so I left and they came a bit later to the pool. I was alone in the pool outside and the flowers were smelling good and the birds were singing. It was a wonderful start to the day :) After changing clothes we went down to breakfast and I ate a lot. Fruits, coco pops, strawberry yoghurt& musli, a toast and waffles! I can't belive how hungry I was :D
9.30 we gathered in front of the reception and stepped in to a bus. We were about to have a Mombasa tour organized by Southern Cross Safaris :) Off we went and soon we drove to the iland city center of Mombasa. Our first stop was at a market place. We visited a spice shop and a vegetable market. All the time some men tried to sell you something, but I thanked no to nearly everything. Still it was interesting to see how things really worked there in the heart of Mombasa :)
Our next stop was the old port. It was deserted today cause it was Sunday, but otherwise it was full of life. It was so hot that I was literally boiling :D But the harbour was beautiful :)
We visited Fort Jesus too and it's so unbelivable that it's all made of corall :D
We ended our tour to a curio handmade factory where you could bye the things they made. I bought something to my mum, but nothing else... I can't make up my mind about what I'm going to buy for my friends and my sister...? But tomorrow I'l go a little bir shopping with granny so maybe I'll find then :)
But more about this day tomorrow, now my eyelocks are starting to fall :D
