This girl is on fire

Hellouu :) Here is so hot !! I bet like almost 40 degrees in the sunshine. I'm burning ! My dresscode for today is pull & bear sandals, thin checked shorts and a white light top. And still I'm on fire :D
So it 15 o'clock and I'm lying on a bed in Satao Camps tent lodge. We came here only an hour ago and then we had lunch. It was outside and there wasn't a big selection of different kind of dishes but that doesn't matter at all, cause the food was excellent :) The name Satao Camp comes from a giraffe that moves within the camp. Satao means giraffe and the one here is called Muakeri. Right now it's just outside our tent eating from a tree :) So this isn't a hotell, this is more safari life :D We sleep in big tents (with water toilet and shower) and they are permanent and not like ordinary hiking tents at all. These have a porch outside and are really good :)
Here are also lots of monkeys and they really smell banana from far far. Granny had a banana which she trough out that the monkeys would not come here, but when I returned from lunch there were like 15 of them sitting on our porch. They thought we had more bananas to give and when I tried to go inside they attacked me! I ran so fast that I could to the nearest guard and he came to chased them away. That was really the first time I was afraid of monkeys. They really scared me! :o :D
So let's go back in time an start with the morning. I woke up 6.30 with granny yelling to me. I rose up and then packed my bags and left to breakfast. After an delicious breakfast we left with the safari cars the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for good. We headed to the other side of the park but when we had driven for about 10 minutes our driver Khan suddenly hit the gas and drove passed all the cars driving in front of us. Soon he told us that there was an leopard walking on the road and somebody had informed him with the radio phones. We found the place but too late. The leopard had gone into the bushes and it could not be seen now :( We new exactly where it was, but we could not see it what was a pity cause we were so close :/ But Khan told us that we would try to look more tomorrow.
After the leopard thing we drove straight to the park gate and then came to the bridge where hundreds of people had been killed by lions when the railway was built many many years ago. It was burning hot and I needed to stay in the car most of the time drinking water. Just before we entered the East Tsavo National Park we stopped by at a little african souvernir shop again but I used only the toilets. And then we were in the next national park. On our way to Satao Camp (our next lodge) we saw many animals that were new to us. To kinds antilopes and a CHEETAH! :D It was lying under a tree in the shadows so that only the head was visible, but then it moved so that you could almost see the whole body. And I got some pictures of it too :) Hopely we'll see more of them !
But now time for the next game drive ! :)
Love Miranda
